Since 1901, the Lépine Competition has been showcasing passionate inventors, both amateur and professional, who devise ingenious solutions to improve our daily lives.
It does not necessarily reward “technological revolutions”, but rather:
- simple and brilliant ideas
- objects that are immediately useful
- innovations that are often very practical
That is what makes it so interesting: transforming a clever idea into a real object that can change lives.
In this respect, the Papophoplon is perfectly suited: a very simple wooden object that allows us to reconnect with the natural cycle of the Sun and to stay in touch with the artistic and scientific heritage represented by the 40,000 sundials recorded in France.
The start of a real educational journey to better understand time!
Come and support the Papophoplon!
